Christopher Blackburn is an award winning architect with over 35 years’ experience on a wide variety of building types including offices and business centres, public and private sector housing, estate master-planning, schools and nurseries, hotels and leisure, industrial units and car showrooms, police and fire stations, historic buildings and churches.
Chris formed the company in 2011 having previously worked at associate director level in a medium sized architectural practice for a number of years. Prior to this Chris had appointments in both the private and local government sectors.
Chris is very much an all rounder who can deliver ‘state of the art’ modernist buildings and yet who is equally skilled working on historic buildings. Chris has experience of sustainable buildings including office design to BREEAM excellent. At the other end of the scale he is accredited as a 'Specialist Conservation Architect' on the RIBA conservation register.
